Future kitchen

OK.. So we are not going to be able to afford the kitchen we really want at this time, but today we went out to look. And with some help of a computer program, this is what our kitchen could look like.

The view of the stove/refrigerator. The cupboard over the fan hood has glass doors. Very nice!

This then, would be the view from the dining room table. Sink in the corner and dishwasher to the right of sink. Cupboard above the sink is open shelves.

The color of the cabinetry is beech wood and mocha stain in the groves to give it some offset. The counter top is black with tiny white speckles. All appliances are black.

We would have tile floor, in a green tint and the walls will have a green paint. Also an earthy green back splash in tile.

But the money isn't really there right now.. So it'll have to wait. But at least we know now where to put the appliances and how the kitchen can look.

Next Tuesday the roof guy is coming to do our roof. We also prised storage sheds and lawn mowers. So that we will get this week. They were on sale at sears now, and it will save some money to get it now.

We will put the storage bin in the dog run at least for now. And that way we can lock both the bin and the dog run.

So this week Rich will take the chain link fence down so the roofers can get their stuff onto our property. It'll be so nice to have the new roof on, and soon the new windows will be in place also.

I wish the kitchen would be done too. but.. One thought is to do just the bottom cabinets for now, just so we can get the counter top installed. The one we have now has water damage but has not the same lay out as the dream kitchen will have..
