Finally an update again:-D

I know.. I really am bad at this blogging stuff, but I do believe I warned everyone in my first post. So.. I should be off the hook. Ha!!

Well anyhow. The boys turned 8 right before Christmas, and that is of course the age where we (LDS) baptize. So it was time for the boys to take that step. It is their choice to be baptized or not, and they are asked and also interviewed by our Bishop to see if this really is something they want to do, and if they are ready for it.

Our two boys decided to go ahead and be baptized and we had planned it for Jan 9th, as their birthday is so close to Christmas and people are out of town..

So Yesterday it was the day. We have been planning this day for some time, but still lots of things went wrong. We couldn't find anyone to play the piano until the very last minute, The sister we had asked to direct the music forgot about the baptism all together and was not ready as I came to pick her up. And when we arrived to the church building, the font wasn't fully filled yet. And then, Rich could not find any clothing that fit him.. Only one jumpsuit was big enough for him to get into, but then it was so tight that he really couldn't wear it in front of people..

So it was decided that he change quickly right before the baptising, and only wear it in the font.

Anyway, after all that and some other smaller things, the boys were finally baptised. This is them in their white outfits. So happy and excited!!
Jonathan, right before we left to go to the Church.
Jacob ready to go.

Daddy gave the talk about baptism, mommy gave the talk on the Gift of the Holy ghost. Amanda gave the opening prayer and Sophia gave the closing prayer.
Daddy baptised Jonathan first, and then Jacob. Jacob was confirmed first.
All four of our children have now been baptised. I am so happy for them!!
