So much now..

hi... Not been a good week this past week..

Amanda has been sick. We took her to the Dr on Tuesday, as of course we haven't been to the doctor much lately.. *irony*

She did not have Strep. I could have sworn she did. 101.9 fever, swollen glands, no appetite and her throat hurt so bad. But nooo, the quick test was negative and so was the lab test. They also tested her for mono, also negative. She ended up missing all week of school. During CSAP week.

Sophia was doing better though. On her pred, which we have started to ween her off of.

But today was Young marines. And Sophia flared up again, probably because of the sun exposure. I can't believe i forgot to slab on sunscreen. I'll kick myself for that for a long time. I didn't even think about it until much later..

Plus the fact that she played outside after we came home again. Well, no more!! It is sunscreen and shade in the future!! I started her on the high dose of pred. again tonight. Hopefully it will go away fast this time. Good thing I can get the pred. cheep;-)

The exciting news for today. I had to call 911 today. The kids school, across the street, caught fire. We could see the flames from our house. And a lot of black smoke. I called and the fire department came within 5 minutes or so. I do not know the extent of the damage, I know that the water used to end the fire often does the most damage..

Monday is the day for me to go to Denver for fingerprinting. Hopefully there will still be school. And Beyond The School Bell, the kids 'after school program'.
