So this past weekend we finally got around to work on the bedrooms upstairs. Well. at least Sophia's room got a do over. A big one! The room 'before' was a fairly messy, unorganized and bland, white room. Now, much better!! But first.
Amanda had a picture in the 'Care-and Share' art contest and she got an Honorable mention for it. This is the picture!

The theme was: What does Hunger look like? I am sure some of the kids, those that got prizes..- have actually felt hunger.. One picture was very good! You really saw the hunger in the picture, and these were all done by elementary children.
So for Sophia's room.

Sort of before.. The walls were just white and nothing really pretty about it.

New color, Victorian purple. And we also took out the carpet. The hardwood floor under is not in great shape, but it has potential. Some sanding and I think it will be great!!

Here we can see the newly uncovered hardwood floor. And Sophia's new bed. It's a bunk with a futon under. For seating but also for sleepovers if needed;-)

Aslan had to check it out. He loves his new sleeping area;-)
As we are redoing all the rooms for the kids, we also got a bunk for the boys.

But the boy's room is not painted yet. But their bunk bed is up and in use. Amanda's room is next to be done. Her bed is to be picked up today. Pictures to follow.
