The workweek is finally over for me. It has been a busy week with many things going on.
One of the things I have been thinking of today, is the letter that the school sent home with my sons. They are in first grade this year, and doing VERY well.
The Letter invited them to be tested for the 'Gifted Program'. I don't know what exactly this will entail. But i feel that we will have them tested and then take it from there. I don't really know how I feel about the possibility that they might be 'gifted'. How would that impact their lives?
Other than that, I have decided to go back to donate blood plasma. Starting next Tuesday if they have time slots left for me. I will try to go Tuesday and Thursday every week. It is a good thing!
On Monday Sophia's school has one more 'Project Night', as they do every month. This time the theme is biomes. Sophia's group is doing the desert. http://www.blueplanetbiomes.org/desert.htm
It'll be interesting. Next month they are going to learn about 'crime scenes'. We hope Daddy (my Husband) will be able to take some time off then, so he can also attend. He has yet to attend one of these functions.
We are also hoping to finish filing our taxes this weekend, so that we can get our refund soon. We are really looking forward to be rid of the styrofoam in the windows, and have windows that are keeping the house warm instead.
We also need to get a new roof put on our house. And maybe it'll be enough to get a new refrigerator and a clothes dryer.. *Dreaming*
