bad week last week.. Not much better this week..

So..

Sophia is having flare ups. Lupus is not an easy decease to control as it turns out. Last week she came home early on Tuesday, and stayed home Friday. And today she was sent home from school again..

Symptoms as of right now. Tuesday she had pronounced butterfly rash, very red and covering nose, forehead and cheeks. She was lethargic. But felt better after sleeping for a few hours.

Friday, headache, tired and just yucky. Felt better in PM. Today, low grade fever, 99.3 or something like that. Dizzy, lethargic and stomach ache. The fever is what alerted school staff..


The cold weather seams to aggravate her more than the heat and sunshine..

So, for another issue.. Right now there is a plumber here, to clean out the basement floor drain.. We had sewer back up.. Yuuucky! So glad he is doing it and not me.. But not happy it had to be done.. The carpet will have to come out and we will have to sanitize the floor.. Bleach is good..

So Rich will have to do that tomorrow, since he has the day off. It is the church's 'Trunk or treat' tomorrow and he wanted to participate. And so he will also have to be 'the man of the house' and do the 'manly' thing of cleaning up after yuck! I am going to work and cleaning yuck there.. only fair! haha..


Anyway, I will post pictures of the kids in their costumes.

it is going to be cold though.. Starting tonight, we are under 'winter storm advisory' and Thursday it is said to be a high temp of 'low 20's'.. That is -5 or lower in Celsius.. And for end of October, that is pretty cold. Snow is also a good possibility.

So now my big question is.. Where is global warming?

Sounds like the plumber is now running our washer and flushing the toilet to make sure the waste water goes down the drain, not out on our floor.. Let me spare you more mind pictures..
