So on Monday we got the results from Amanda's MRI. Everything is normal and OK, except.. She has a sinus infection.. Yeah, an expensive MRI exam to find out about a sinus infection.. Ha ha..
Anyway, her doctor wanted to at least treat that which we know about, so she called in a prescription for Augmentin. And when we got them.. It turns out they are horse pills. Huge! I am telling ya, even I would have trouble swallowing those pills whole. There is NO WAY I will get my 9 year old Amanda to swallow these pills. And I am a little annoyed, at the Dr. for not getting her the syrup, and at Rich for accepting these pills..
Her doctor also wants us to see the neurologist still, but it turns out that the only pediatric neurologist in Colorado Springs, does not take our insurance. Which leaves us with Denver again..
Also, we had staff meeting and I brought in smul paj ( crumble pie) to share for Lea's birthday. Everyone seamed to like it! The meeting was long, and after the regular staff meeting we were asked to stay for a 'kennel meeting' also. Another almost hour that really didn't lead to much of anything.
Today I also got some Halloween decorations. At the dollar store. Some window stickers and something for the front door. On Sat. I plan on having the kids help me make a scary scarecrow person for the front steps. Or next to the steps, I guess... As our steps really are too small right now.. It is too early to carve any pumpkins, unless we really want to feed the squirrels..
Till next time!
