More sickness in the family.. So, we are fairly certain that Rich has the flu, very sure that Amanda, Jacob and Jonathan also has it. Most likely Mommy is getting it, Sophia claims to feel fine.
Jonathan woke up at 2 am Sunday night with 103F. He slept next to daddy the rest of the night after daddy gave him Children's Motrin.
His eyes are red and glazed over, he said he had a headache, his body hurt, he is dizzy and no appetite. Chills with the fever.
My poor boy. We do not know 'which' influenza, as Rich decided not to have it tested at this time.
Amanda seamed fine this morning, went off to School as usual. Around 9:45 the School called, she then had a temp of 102.8F Achy and nauseous. And an earache. Rich took them both to the Dr. And she does not have an ear infection, but the Dr took one look at my boy and said: Flu. Go home..
So home they went.
Jacob came home after "Beyond the School Bell" and felt warm, even though he claimed to feel good except a sore throat. Temp of 100.3 and rising. He is in bed now, too tired to eat dinner.
Me? I have a sore throat, and I feel 'warm. No fever... Yet...
At this time I feel that the Flu shots that my place of employment might offer to me, which we are to discuss at the staff meeting next week, might be too late.. Smile, life goes on. More people die in car accidents every day than from the flu, H1N1 or seasonal..
