I am back...

I know... it has been too long! But I am finally back. I think.

Since last time, so much has happened.

Sophia had her first Temple trip with the Young Women. She had a great time and she is looking forward to more trips.

We also did some 'End of Summer' hiking. These pictures are all from Red Rocks.

So for some sad news..

Amanda has been diagnosed with migraines.

I believe I had migraines as a child also, without a diagnosis. I do remember having headaches 'all' the time.. And Amanda's head has been aching more frequently now and this last weekend was the most severe. She even vomited.

So we saw two doctors, she got Tylenol with codeine and some kind of nausea medication to help her.

Now, the big problem with juvenile migraines is, that all medications geared for migraines are only approved for adults.

And her Pediatrician had some concerns. She was concerned that her headache seams to be so concentrated on her left side, also that it lasted so long, four days. And also that the Tylenol with codeine didn't last longer or cut through the pain completely.. So she ordered a MRI and also referred us to a neurologist.

The MRI will be nest Wednesday morning. She has to be fasting, so it will be a long morning for her. She is not a very patient girl when her blood sugar is low..

Also.. Jonathan is getting glasses. He is farsighted as it turns out. So they are mostly needed for reading. And he is definitely Color Deficient. (It is not Color Blind...) Anyhow, I guess he can see some green shades, but nothing with red in it...

So, for now.. that is it..
