So many things..

OK, so things don't always turn out the way one plans..

Today I went to the doctor about my migraines that has gotten worse. The results:

I have two prescriptions for meds, one that is a beta blocker to take prophylactic and one that is abortive to take as headache starts.

Also had a quick EKG because I have a slight irregularity in my heartbeat apparently..?

The doctor also wanted me to have some kind of sleep study to find out if I have sleep apnea. And then regular blood work to check the usual, cholesterol and such and she also wanted me to schedule an appointment for a pap smear and breast exam.

For my feet, she asked me to schedule an appointment separate from today, to ask about that..

Also.. We have found out that the building permit to install a wood burning stove might not happen.. At this point we would have to have an architect come out to draw blue prints for the permit and that would cost more than we are willing to pay. The next best plan is to have an electric space heater for now and then add some of the tax money in the spring to have a firm come out and install the stove for us. That way we can skip the whole 'permit' deal.. But that would still add to the cost, which is why we would have to wait.

But that is what we have decided to do, so for now we have a small space heater for the downstairs. It arrived today and I will take some pictures of it soon. Tonight I have to take the girls to church, so it'll have to wait.

My birthday is over. I was woken Sunday with breakfast in bed. The kids had made French Toast for me. And I got a winter jacket, Glenn Becks book: 'Arguing with Idiots'!! And the kids gave me a bottle of fake 'White diamonds' perfume, and jewelery. Earrings and necklaces.

My dad had sent me a book, 'Isprinsessan' by Camilla Läckberg.

A work on Monday it was mine and Barbs birthdays. Barb had bought us matching scrub tops so we could be twins. Cute and very sweet of her!
Summer had made her a cake and Kristy had brought a vegetable platter with feta cheese dip for me. Very yummy!!

And yesterday I went to see 'New Moon' with Angie. So all in all it was a nice birthday. It is Angie's birthday on Saturday so we combined it with the movie!
