Boot camp.

First day of Boot camp for my Young Marines. They had to be there at 8:30, in Boot Camp Uniform. It is black sweatpants and white shirts. Also a sack lunch and a water bottle. So, here they are!!
♥ I am so happy that we found this program. 53 recruits started today, they were separated into two platoons. 8-10 years old in one, and the older kids in the other.

They are addressed as Recruit Grunberg plus the first initial in their first name. And of course that created some trouble with the boys.. I guess they solved it by adding first initial of middle name also.

After some initial information, it was time to learn 'formation'. Here they are waiting for their name to be called.

Sophia in formation, checking to make sure her feet are in the right position.

Yes, this is going to be so good!!
Assignments for next drill:
4-6 sentences about why they want to go to YM. Parents forcing me, does not count! :-D
Clean bedroom.
Study for badge test.
Study word of the month. Assimilate.
Olympic Games started yesterday, it is held in Vancouver, Canada this time. Exciting to see if Sweden takes home any medals.
