Right now I have Semlor rising on the stove. I made it my in official mission to spread that which is good in Sweden to everyone around me, and work and my coworkers are my targets right now:-D Especially since my boss finds it so hilarious to joke about my heritage.
this is what Semlor should look like, I am sure mine wont be so pretty, but I hope they will be liked. My plan is to have them as dessert on Tuesday, since we have staff meeting then.

Since I am now on a Low Carb diet (again) these Semlas are not for me. I will stick to cows:-) Saw this video and really like the tune! Ha ha, I am sure this is the national anthem of cows.
The reason I have chosen Low Carb? Because I feel good when I eat strict Low Carb and it is the best way to loose weight, and I do need to do that.
Next Saturday will be start of Boot Camp for my now 4 Young Marines. Yes, we signed them all up. They are all very excited, as are me and their father! For boot Camp their uniform will be black sweatpants and white t-shirt/sweatshirt. I will take pictures on Saturday. The boys got their haircuts yesterday, and the girls has to have their hair in a bun so it is off the collar and away from the ears. The boys have military style haircuts.
Boot Camp is 9 weeks, and after that they are officially Young Marines.
The Young Marines Core Values:
Every United States Marine upholds the core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. These values give Marines their strength, regulate their behavior and bond them together into a force like no other, capable of overcoming every obstacle and meeting any challenge. The young Marines' core Values are Discipline, Leadership and Teamwork.
At sign in they promise:
From this day forward, I sincerely promise, I will set an example for all other youth to follow and I shall never do anything that would bring disgrace or dishonor upon my God, My country and its flag, my parents, myself or the Young marines. These I will honor and respect in a manner that will reflect credit upon them and myself. Semper Fidelis. ( Always Faithful )
The creed that every Young Marine lives by is:
Obey my parents and all others in charge of me whether young or old.
Keep myself neat at all times without other people telling me to.
Keep myself clean in mind by attending the church of my faith.
Keep my mind alert to learn in school, at home, or at play.
Remember that having self-discipline will enable me to control my body and mind in case of an emergency.
I think this will be so good for all four. It will be a lot of physical exercises and also a lot of service opportunities.
