So Surgery went well. I had to be there at 6:15 and I was taken back to change in to one of those fun gowns that open in the back. And then they put an IV in my arm. They tried my hand first, but that didn't work. So arm it was. And then I was rolled into the operating room. The last thing I remember is telling the nurse my arm fell off the table. Then I woke up.. My foot is bandaged and I have a surgical shoe on. I am not allowed to remove the bandage until the office visit on the 30th.
Today it hurts less. So I can almost walk. Monday is going to be painful, I know.. Slow probably.. But they all know that at work..
The Dr said it was very tight in there. He said it was unlikely that any amount of stretching would have helped. So I am glad I had the surgery done.
The kids are fine. They are helping me a lot!!
So, we are trying to get ready for next school year. All the lists of supplies are out now. All the things that has to be bought.
And Hunt is still uniform, so we have to figure out what clothes to but for the three youngest.
I think we will go with tan pants this year. To save black for Church and Young Marines.
And then just shirts.. And they all need new shoes..
Sophia at least can wear whatever. That simplifies.. For sure.
I think everyone needs new backpacks also.
So come Aug 18th, I will have an 8th grader, a 5th grader and two 3rd graders. Time flies!!
So this is the update for now.
