Winter day.

As today turned out to be gorgeous weather, I decided to use the day to get some yard work done. Our house has a very large yard, that has absolutely no landscaping done on it, and it has been neglected since long before we even bought the house.

But our plan is to change that, and the first step for me today, was to rake the dead grass and leaves away from the yard and dump it in our newly created compost pile.

Jacob thought standing on the grass in a bucket, might help the bucket hold more, before he had to drag it to the compost pile.

Our next step will be to sow grass seed all over, but first I need to decide where I would like to have our vegetable garden.
