Strong daughter.

Was sitting thinking yesterday about yesteryears and how there was this one person in particular that I saw as an example. I saw her as very strong. As someone to look up to. Her example was awesome!!
At one point she found out there was hardly any food she could eat. For a very long time we only ate chicken, veal, rice and potatoes. She was frustrated at the Word of Wisdom that states that Wheat is for man, when wheat made her sick.

I was surprised to see that she continued to partake of the sacrament at Church even though that was bread, Wheat. But she told me that she felt a deal had been made. If she kept herself worthy of partaking of the sacrament then God would make sure she did not get sick from it.

What an example for me!! I yearned to have a faith as strong as she had. And now as I am watching my daughter I see in her the same strong faith.
This Saturday I sit early in the morning brushing her hair to put it up for Young Marines. And it is clear that the bald spot in the front can not be covered. And since they are serving breakfast indoors there will be no covers.. So.. I tell Sophia that I can't cover the spot. She turns and says: "It's ok. It's the Young Marines. If anyone says anything I know where to go! "

She is so strong, she is ok. She'll be ok. This stupid disease that takes her hair will not get her down!!

This Wednesday we are finally seeing the doctor up in Denver. I am not sure it will lead to anything.. But one can hope.. But if not then I know Sophia will still be ok!! Because she is strong, as strong as her aunt was way back when!

Last week we got another call from the boys school.. Jacob has once agin tried to forge a check. He is not learning to avoid crime, he is only learning how to do it better.. This time the check was filled in almost correctly, the only thing missing was the amount in letters and it was done in pencil. He had manged to sign Richards name, and it looked as if Rich had done it. I checked it out, in CO check fraud gets you a minimum of three months a max of one year in prison and a fine of three times the amount of the check written. Why is he still trying to commit check fraud? Well, he felt that the bank would just print up new money.. So that made it ok for him to use our checks.. How do we get through to him????

Oh, I found out my sister Sandra is having another baby!! Due date: July 4th!! Hope she keeps feeling ok this time around, so far so good!! Love you Sandra!!!
