Week end is over.

It is Monday again. This week end has been very hot and our house is just not cool enough.. So everyone is miserable..

We also had a borrowed kitten for the week end. The kitten is very cute, about 9 or 10 weeks old. Very playful. Even though they knew it is not staying, the girls named it. So Prince is his temporary name.. But he goes back today. We have three cats already and they were not happy about the kitten at all. Surprisingly Simbah was the least hostile. Shimmer the most. Aslan was in between, but also very curious about this invader. I think they will all be happy to see him go.. Not Amanda though. She did really good this week end taking care of him.

There is only two more weeks of summer break for the boys and Amanda. And then school is back in session. This Wednesday there is a meeting at Atlas for parents and Rich has to go or we will loose the spots for the boys.

We also found out that we are getting a short visit from family on the 29th. By short visit I mean that the visitors are only coming Fri. pm and leaving again Sat. am. But that is OK because I am going to IKEA that Sat. IKEA finally opens in Denver on the 27th. And the 30th we are going on a field trip;-) I guess it will be I, Paulette, Barb, Dr. Miller, Khristen and maybe Chris. It'll be so much fun!!

But now it is breakfast time. I am trying an new thing this am. Something to introduce to Dad when he comes. Greek yoghurt (full fat) with a little whipped cream in it. And a few raspberries and muesli made out of chopped nuts. (peanut, almond, pecan and coconut.) I had it for dinner last night. Yummy!!
